Job Title: Customer Sales (internal) / Account Executive

Reporting To: Internal Sales Manager

Location: Prima, St Ives

Role Purpose

Responsible for all aspects of customer service, quoting, and orderbook management from initial enquiry through to delivery of the end product.

  • Advise and assist new and existing customers by creating and maintaining strong and effective relationships.
  • Maintain and increase sales within these customers.
  • Quote on potential new business and follow up new opportunities, using business acumen when dealing with complex variables.
  • Establish strong and effective relationships with other company departments.
  • Logical and methodical approach to work with strong emphasis on orderbook management and customer communication.
  • Able to work on own initiative and meet deadlines as required.
  • Timely reporting of any issues or occurrences to the Internal Sales Manager.
  • Carry out duties in a respectful and efficient manner, acting in the interest of the company at all times and complying with the company rules and regulations, including Health and Safety policies.
  • Complete any relevant training provided by the company and assist in the training of others where required.
  • Any other reasonable requests from the management team.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications/Experience

  • Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent).
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment would be advisable but not critical.
  • Previous experience with ERP/MRP systems would be advantageous.
  • Experience within a customer service environment.
