Functional test

After building a board with checks and verification at every stage,  if required,  the final activity before shipping is functional test.

More and more customers are requesting that we perform a level of functional test to exercise the board in either real or simulated conditions and based upon a the customer specific test plan.

We have a number of test technicians with many years of experience of functional test in both the analogue and digital worlds.

We can therefore, with confidence, offer the possibility that before shipment we will do as comprehensive a test as required to enable the shipment to the customer, or even directly to his customer, of working boards.

Test records are rigorously maintained so that full traceability can be achieved, and internally we keep records with which we measure ourselves on first pass yields.

This is important as a tool to constantly check the manufacturing process as well as ship working boards.
