Based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, Prima has been providing contract electronic manufacturing services to the Anglian region for over 19 years.

The company offers buy and build, or free issue facilities and works in small to medium size batch production.  Working from prototype, through NPI, and into full production, those products which require production volumes not economic to take to the less costly regions of the world are capable of being produced economically here in the UK.

Very often having a manufacturing facility fully equipped with surface mount, conventional build, test and box build facilities close to your development group is as much a part of the process as the design group themselves when bringing a product to market.

To achieve this, the company has a policy of investment in the latest generation production and test equipment available to handle current component availability. During the last 5 years the company has invested over £2 million in the latest most productive manufacturing and test equipment.

We will build in small to medium batch production, both simple and complex fine pitch double sided boards.

Our production yields are second to none, due to heavy emphasis on getting the process right, testing the process and testing the product.
